Olivia Bee Takes
a Vision Walk
"Photography is a way to explore the world in front of you."
Vans' ethos on creative expression is simple-you don't need professional training, instruction, or equipment to make art. You just need to have an idea and the desire to create something. With a camera in everyone's pocket, photography has become an art form accessible to us all-every moment can be captured instantly, and in turn each of those photos has the power to convey a certain idea or memory.
"There's no right or wrong way to make a picture.""There's no right or wrong way to be a creative person.""Just don't be afraid of making stuff."
"I think it's really cool to be able to make a picture more than a picture.""So I use a lot of toys and pushing that further…""what you see is not just what everybody else might see."
Photographers
"Photography for me exists in two different steps.""The first one is that I make pictures for myself.""The second step is that I put those pictures out into the world."
